Voice service works over your Internet connection, so our backhaul helps to make your phone reliable too! This does mean Voice will not work if there is a network outage.
Additionally, if you lose your Internet connection because of a power outage at the service address, your Internet will go down and the voice services will not work. You can protect against this situation by purchasing an inexpensive uninterruptible power supply (UPS), which provides a battery backup for your equipment and will keep your Internet and voice working even if you lose power as long as our network is still up and running.
